Thanks to all of the parents who registered their students, those who helped their students raise money, those who volunteered to support the day-of activities, and those who came out to support their students during the Run! With your support, we raised $23,483! We are so grateful for your support. The money raised helps purchase items the school needs, in order to support and enrich the learning experience for each student.

Frisco Council of PTAs is thrilled to bring back RoughRiders Spirit Night on April 21, a fun night of RoughRiders baseball with Frisco ISD families! Our spring district-wide Spirit Night with Papa John's is coming up April 22-29. Families can use our specific school code FISD18 for Liscano Elementary when ordering and Papa John's will donate a total of 20% of purchase price. 15% of purchase price will be donated to Liscano and the other 5% will be donated to Frisco ISD Council of PTA's for their Frisco Threads clothes closet! If you were unable to attend the March General Meeting, you can view the meeting minutes here. During the March General Meeting, President Vinay Kadam called the meeting to order and provided a list of PTA accomplishments to date. A Treasurer's Report was given by Kaushik Ashangari and budget amendments were presented to the membership to vote on. Ehireimen Adeyo was also introduced as the Committee Chairwoman of the Nominating Committee for the Liscano PTA Board for the 2022-23 school year. 

Jannie Tong's dedication and commitment to Liscano families is evident in her role as Communications Chair on the current Liscano Elementary PTA Board and as a room parent. She's always willing to lend a hand, and doesn't hesitate to step in to fill any gaps. The nominator said, "Jannie is always willing to help new and present parents with information needed ... She is very helpful with resources and is super friendly", and we could not agree more. Jannie has embodied "outstanding contribution and service toward the well-being and benefit of children and youth", and for that, Jannie was selected for this prestigious award.
